About DOTA2 REPLAY

Watching a Dota 2 replay should be as simple as opening a web page.

About DOTA2 REPLAY

About the project

DOTA2 REPLAY is a browser-based tool for watching and reviewing matches. Open a replay and follow a hero through the game, from the laning phase and teamfights to the moment that decides the match.

What you can do

Enter a match ID to fetch an available public replay, or import a local .dem, .bz2, .zst, .zstd or .gz file. Local files are decompressed and parsed on your device, with no upload needed.

Follow heroes across the full map, switch spectator views, and inspect items, abilities, health, mana and match stats at the selected moment.

Jump to kills and teamfights, adjust playback speed, and share a full match, a specific moment or a fight.

Current limitations

The map uses assets from a fixed game version. Some lighting, effects and team vision are simplified. Older or damaged replays may not parse, and expired public replays require a local file.
